The evergreen is the truest tree I know. It doesn’t change to suit the season, unlike the other trees. They explode with frilly blossoms in spring to delight our senses with aromatic sweetness, provide shade from the blistering heat of summer, and impress us with rich vibrant hues in autumn. The evergreen remains unchanged. It’s not until the approach of winter that the evergreen, in its glorious needle foliage, appears more alive as the others become bare skeletons of branches. It just waits pateintly to be discovered, much like truth.
It’s been over four years now since I first accepted the reality of 9/11 and I see the numbers of the awakening increasing by the day. There is much healing that needs to take place in this country and we begin by facing the facts. I’m so proud of those who have the courage and determination to expose this crime. The truth will always be there, but it depends on us to see it. After hours of sifting through facts and details I always came to the same conclusion which is that the evidence is really common sense. The truth is staring us in the face. I remember thinking a couple things were odd about the story. First, our military wasn’t able to intervene and defend us. I mean I’m not an expert on defense but I know that this is their job. It didn’t make any sense, but, like most people, I was in a state of shock so I dismissed my instincts. Big mistake. I also found it strange when the pictures of the hijackers were presented. How did they come to this conclusion so quickly and definitively? Again, these were fleeting thoughts I had, but didn’t look into it any further. Looking back now, after being enlightened and no longer under the fear-driven spell of the media, I feel so foolish and naive for not seeing the absurdity of the whole story we were told. So many years have passed while the truth, in its modest yet dignified subtly, waits for someone to see it. Now that winter is upon us the evergreen, symbolic of this time of year, takes center stage. It serves a purpose as a decoration during the holidays. When the festivities are over and winter melts away, the evergreen’s popularity will subside as we turn our attention to the magnolias and the apple blossoms. But like the truth, it will still be the same and just because it does not serve us somehow it deserves our attention.
There is a water hole at the end of the path that I walk and on a calm day the reflection of the neighboring trees is crisp and clear, rendering the hues and shadows as a mirror would. As I approach, the sound of several plops disrupts the silence as the amphibian residents take shelter. All I see are circles of concentric waves. Sometimes a gentle breeze will create soft ripples leaving the pristine reflection distorted yet still recognizable. And when this mirror of water is ravished by the wind, the reflection is distorted and muddled so that the subjects are almost unrecognizable. So what once was a true reflection, is now fragmented and no longer doing justice to the object in front of it.
We’ve all seen clips from the riots and wars of the sixties when the actual news was reflecting the current state of our country. Now, the image conveyed is as distorted as the trees in the fragmented reflection in the water hole. In an interview Dan Rather revealed, “What’s going on is a belief that you can manipulate communicable trust between the leadership and the media. The way you do that is you don’t let the press in anywhere. This is a direct contradiction of the stated policy of maximum access to information consistent with national security.” Jane Akre from Fox News also admitted, “After our struggle to air an honest report [on hormones in milk], Fox fired the general manager [of our station]. The new GM said that if we didn’t agree to changes that the lawyers were insisting upon, we’d be fired for insubordination in 48 hours. We pleaded with [him] to look at the facts we’d uncovered. His reply: ‘We paid $3 billion dollars for these stations. We’ll tell you what the news is.'” These are just a few examples of how information, important information, is being withheld from the citizens of America. The handful of networks that own news stations are not interested in the greater good of this nation.
When we watch TV news, or any mainstream mass form of media, we should see in it ourselves, our community, our nation, our world. We should be informed about local and world events by journalists who report facts and tell a true story. The news, when presented with journalistic integrity, will not pick and choose which stories to tell. We should not be the invented reflection of the media which repeats key phrases in an almost delirious tone; loud, fast, with head spinning enthusiasm. We are becoming what it tells us to become. We are like the trees and we can only see our true reflection when the erratic waves of lies have subsided. If we deconstruct the messages we can calm the frenzy and think with discretion and clarity.
My role in society, or any artist’s or poet’s role, is to try and express what we all feel. Not to tell people how to feel. Not as a preacher, not as a leader, but as a reflection of us all.
Droplets of water that rest on a leaf will not penetrate a hydrophobic (water-fearing) leaf. If it did then the plant would become waterlogged and die. The leaf is only protecting itself from harm. The water cannot nourish the leaf unless it passes through the roots. There is a process.
The mind also has a process for absorbing information and protecting us from news that causes distress or harms us emotionally. When the news is so overtly contradictory to one’s perceived reality, it must be broken down into small doses and gradually over time accepted as the new reality. When I think of the worst mass killing of civilians on American soil, 9/11, I am repeatedly reminded that my world is very different from what I thought it was. There is an overwhelming feeling of loss and betrayal. At first I was completely offended by the notion of an inside job. However, I am the kind of person who needs to know the truth, always have been. As a child I could never lie. My sister did not understand this about me. You know how children are? Always trying to get away with something. Not me. It bothered me. My conscience was very loud. So through my research on 9/11 I began to allow the truth in.
I know there are more people out there like me. They just need to start the process of transitioning to a new outlook. First step is to stop watching mainstream media. In the 80’s there were 50 corporations that owned the U.S. media, now there are 5. I no longer listen to the news on any network. I simply do not trust it anymore. Every channel seems as if there is a script and, frankly, it’s insulting. This was especially apparent looking at footage from the news during 9/11/2001.
“It turns out if you shock people profoundly, they become extremely vulnerable to imprinting, and an authority figure can imprint, just about anything they want, on the brain of a person who has been profoundly shocked.”
-Kevin Barret, Doctor in Arabic and Islamic Studies and the Co-Founder of the Muslim-Jewish-Christian Alliance for Truth.
The outrage I feel toward the system which allowed this to take place fuels my persistence in this matter. My hope is that through love and understanding my fellow Americans will join me and thousands of others to begin to allow an alternate view of 9/11 to resonate within so that these tiny droplets of truth can begin to nourish our minds and our nation.
Lately I’ve been looking to the sky more on my walks. There is a peacefulness in its vastness. Unlike the ground we walk on, it is not for sale. We often are told to reach for the sky. But does anyone really touch it? That’s the beauty of it. It’s untouched by humanity. It waits patiently while the ominous darkness of a ruthless storm covers its majestic beauty. But the sky is aware of the storm’s foolish games. It is no match for the stability and grace of the sky which does not have to prove its power like the storm with its thunderous noises and flashy lights. It just has to be. I am comforted by the sky’s reliablity to hold the stars and moon every night, reflect the warm light of sunsets and sunrises, and provide the canvas for rainbows.
So this heavenly blue security blanket has helped me cope with the cognitive dissonance caused by 9/11 and other false flag events. I find it challenging to be surrounded daily by a population that, for the most part, has yet to become aware of the truths I cannot unlearn. Our world is conditioned by carefully planned agendas. From the fear-inducing media and corrupt politics to the corporate money machines that play cruel games on the phyche of humanity. The monsters behind this curtain of deception have no respect for life and are capable of the unthinkable. But they are also fools. Their money and power is no match for a population with keen awareness. Knowledge is power and we shouldn’t be afraid to learn. Our awareness will be our defense against the messages made to condition our minds. If we are aware of the intentions of the messages then we are better able to think for ourselves. So let’s be like the sky, a true blue friend to the world.
Ever since my revelations about 9/11, I’ve had difficulty just letting it go. My intentions are not to distrupt lives, but to somehow, in some way, honor those whose lives were taken. I have a difficult time being complacent when so much suffering was inflicted on innocent American citizens living their lives, working hard and loving their country. When I discovered, what looked like a mushroom of some kind, growing out of the side of this tree, I was intrigued and sort of mystified by its appearance. At first it appeared to be harmlessly decorating the bark of the tree until I realized, after reading about tree mushrooms, that they are parasitic fungus slowly destroying the system, deep in the core of the trunk, that keeps the tree alive. I remember having a similar response when hearing members of the administration console the public assuring everyone they will be protected. I believed them. It made me feel much better thinking we were all going to be okay. Well, like the mushrooms which appeared so pristine and innocent, our leaders and others with power, wealth, and control, were not so innocent. Looking deeper into the attack and the way it was reported, our nation’s system of democracy, freedom, and security was shamefully betrayed. Some of the deep and hidden truths were not evident during the chaos and repitious scripts on corporate media. Certain aspects of the horrific event had no explanation. Why did building 7 just fall like a demolition in a movie at 5:30 that evening? Why did everyone, even news reporters, say they heard a series of explosions, describing the fall of each tower a controlled demolition? Why were no bodies found at the shankville crash site? How do 4 planes fly around for over an hour without being intercepted? How does a plane 155 ft wide make a hole 65 ft wide? Why were no black boxes found? Why was there molten metal(only incidiaries can produce molten metal) found at ground zero? Why was thermite (only used by the military) found at ground zero? How could cell phones work 30,000 feet in 2001? Why was evidence destroyed immediately and shipped to China? Why were put stock options on American Airlines 25 times higher than normal on September 6? How do office fires bring down a building symmetrically and pulverize concrete? My head hurts. The list goes on and on. These questions have either been ignored or explained with contradictions by those in charge. Getting deeper into the official story is like finding the rotten core of a beautiful, majestic oak tree that had no defense against the deceptive, parasitic, fungus that fed off of its life force. The only hope is that the damage is not to the core or ‘heart’ of the tree. Our nation, like the tree, is strong and good-willed. Our citizens, who are trusting and loyal, deserve explanations not lies. Increasing numbers of free-thinking people are joining this movement to expose the rotten lies and protect our nation’s heart.
Life is a series of patterns; patterns of sound, patterns of light, patterns of movement. It’s difficult to see a pattern if you are part of it. However, if you step outside for a moment to observe, it tells a story. Each petal is an entity in itself, oblivious to the circular form that all the petals together create. As an observer we see the flower. On a much larger scale patterns also exist as a series of events. How we move through the day is a pattern, our behavior follows certain patterns, even major historical events can follow a pattern, namely, war. A chilling explanation as follows:
“Why of course the people don’t want war … But after all it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship … Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”
– Hermann Goering, Nazi leader.
We are not Innocent of this false flag pattern of war. Pearl Harbor was allowed to happen to enter WWII, Operation Northwoods involved committing terrorist acts on American soil, and then blaming it on Cuban terrorists in order to justify an invasion of Cuba, The Gulf of Tonkin incident was fabricated and used to go to war with Vietnam, entry in the First Gulf war was based on a media hoax, where the daughter of Kuwaiti US ambassador played a nurse on TV and testified to “witnessing” Iraqi soldiers throwing babies out of incubators in Kuwait, not to mention the last/present war, based on 9/11, which wreaks of a false flag operation. Will Syria complete the pattern or will it continue until enough of us notice the pattern.
400,000 people marched in New York for the environment. Why? I mean why bother? Talking to people in my life I come to two basic conclusions: either they know we face a global economic/environmental dilemma and feel helpless, or they are in denial, thinking its not a problem at all. I belong to a group on Facebook called “I am the face of Truth”; This is where change starts. I really think that speaking about topics, like 9/11, openly will promote awareness and inspire more people to think instead of react. I, like many others with the same views, have run into the same obstacles, mainly fear, when trying to explain evidence related to 911. Now we are on the verge of another war with Syria. We hear reports of beheadings. Well, this is new! The carefully-orchestrated war machine has done it again. So people are just randomly being beheaded here? Oh no! This war machine has to stop. Money obsession becomes a power obsession. We are going into new wars for seemingly bizarre reasons. Meanwhile the planet is becoming more polluted , water is becoming scarce for many, and species of animals are ceasing to exist. This must be fixed and it’s not impossible if the wealth of this country were invested wisely. If not, we won’t be fighting other countries for oil, we will be fighting each other for water. Soon the leaves will be at their peak of color; so when your enjoying nature at its finest, just remember the little group of leaves that started it.
Who remembers the media chaos following 9/11? It was a relentless birage of impressive images and the same phrases repeated over and over and over on different channels as if scripted for all of them. I don’t remember really speaking to anyone about it. Everyone at the school where I worked at the time was pretty quiet. We all just watched it unfold on the news during lunch. Looking back I guess it was because we were all in a state of shock, traumatized to some degree, and frankly really scared. It wasn’t long before the White House knew exactly who did it and soon we attacked Afghanistan and then Iraq. No trial, no investigation, nothing. How could the most powerful country on earth allow 4 planes to fly around without intercepting any of them? I do know that when a person is in a state of panic the cognitive part of the brain shuts down so that they can react quickly to get out of harm’s way. So we were vulnerable and looked to our government to help us feel secure again. The “storm” was raging and most of us accepted it. I did. Well, as I read and looked into some of the claims I began to see the deception. I, like thousands of other people in this country are like the flowers in the field, waiting for the storm to pass and knowing the sun will come out again, shining on the truth.
I noticed this leaf on my walk today and I just couldn’t pass it by. This is one of those messages I was talking about. We all know, on some level, that our earth is suffering and so are the people on it. As we struggle, the 1% keeps getting richer from their wars. Can people be this cold? The answer unfortunately is “yes” if they lack empathy. A study published in a Huffington Post article by Mike Sauter revealed that in 2000, the U.S. defense budget was approximately $312 billion. By 2011, that figure had grown to $712 billion. 9/11 was the catalyst for this war. They are making money and lives are lost for nothing but more profits for them. Oh, what we could have done with the billions spent on war like investing in the healing of our earth with technologies we have but don’t use. If our earth is sick we are sick. Enough is enough. Fear fuels the denial. We are all in this together; you and me and the trees.
There are lessons in everyday life. Some are so simple that they seem to be insignificant so we just ignore the message. I remember feeling so powerful when I was walking on these rocks, using them to boost me up above everything else. It wasn’t until I stepped on a wobbly one that I realized that they are the foundation and the strength supporting me. Like these rocks, we, as people of a nation, are the foundation of our community, our country, our world. Just one wobbly rock can start an avalanche of change as “the powers that be” start to crumble. Learning and sharing the facts of 9/11 is necessary to shake the foundation of deception and rebuild our nation on the foundation of truth. We have the choice to reject or accept the explanations for this horrific attack. We are the rocks the deceivers walk upon. They are not powerful, we are. And when the dust settles there will be peace.
